Faraz Khan is the founder and CEO of Advanced Tactical Solutions (ATS), a Houston-based security firm known for its professionalism, precision, and tactical expertise. With a strong background in security operations and threat management, Faraz brings years of hands-on experience in risk assessment, emergency response, and team leadership. His vision is to deliver proactive, reliable, and high-level security services tailored to each client’s needs. Driven by integrity and a commitment to excellence, Faraz continues to lead ATS in setting new standards in the private security industry.

John Minchew
President, Advanced Tactical Solutions

John Minchew began his law enforcement career in 1978, serving in various roles with the Houston Police, Jersey Village PD, and Ft. Bend County Constable’s Office, as well as on a private security team for the Consulate General of San Marino. He also served in both the U.S. Army and Air Force military police, earning honorable discharges.

After moving to Florida in 1982, he was appointed Chief of Police for the Florida East Coast Railway Police. Following the devastation of Hurricane Andrew in 1992, he returned to Texas and became an executive with The Wackenhut Corp. He also held public roles, including Director for the Pecan Grove MUD and Public Safety Committee member in Missouri City.

With over 30 years of experience, John now owns and operates a successful security and investigations company. Twice recognized as a Patriotic Employer, he is known for his dedication to public service, conservative values, and strong support for hiring military veterans.
